1 蜘蛛

阴雨天，如气压上升，湿度减小，昆虫高飞，蜘蛛便张网捕捉，预示天气将转晴。反之，蜘蛛收网，预示将下雨。俗话说：“蜘蛛结网，久雨必晴。”

2青蛙

春夏季节，青蛙叫声大而密，预示不久就会下雨。谚语说：“蛤蟆大声叫，必是大雨到”。

3燕子

马尾松种子能预报天气。晴天，马尾松种子鳞瓣上的粘液干燥变硬而向外伸张；下雨前，鳞瓣变软，逐渐闭合。

6鸡

下雨前，气压较低，湿度较大，昆虫贴着地面飞，鸡要觅虫食，再加上笼里闷，鸡不愿进笼。俗话说：“鸡愁雨，鸭愁风”。

7白蚁

春夏季节，每当天气闷热时，白蚁就飞出洞外活动。傍晚天黑不认识回洞的路，就向灯光处猛扑，这就预告一二天内将会下大雨或雷雨。

8鱼类

“鱼儿出水跳，风雨快来到”、“河里鱼打花，天上有雨下”。当临近下雨时，天气沉闷闷的，使水中溶解的氧气量减少，于是鱼类纷纷浮到水面上层甚至水面来呼吸。

俗语说：“燕子低飞，蛇过道，大雨不久就来到。”“水蛇盘柴头，地下大雨流。”
